How to help

Whether you're a London corporate, social enterprise or interested individual, there are lots of ways in which you can help us to help bees:

Wish List
There a number of things, listed below, that we need to help us work more efficiently and engage more volunteers in our work.  If you have any of these items going spare, or would like to buy us a gift, we would love to hear from you - please get in touch with Caroline (caroline@bee-collective.co.uk)
  • Printer - preferably desktop, as were short on space, but we're grateful for anything
  • Printer paper & ink cartridges
  • Hand basin - honey is sticky!
  • Bins with lids - for waste, recycling and laundry
  • Food Grade cleaning products - Honey is sticky! We prefer products that are kind to the environment
  • Step ladders
  • Radio - to entertain our hard working volunteers
  • Honey extractor - another extractor would mean that we could engage more volunteers and process more honey
  • Honey buckets - for collecting and settling honey before bottling
  • Honey jars
  • Heavy duty mop and bucket
  • Blue roll dispenser
  • Large plastic trugs
  • Bicycle trailer - for collections/deliveries in central London
Volunteering
Bee Collective is run entirely by volunteers.  If you have time to spare, even if its just a few hours every now and then, we would love to hear from you.  There are a number of roles and tasks to fulfil from seasonal honey extraction, bottling and labelling to website/database development, and events management.   Please get in touch with Caroline for an informal chat if you are interested (caroline@bee-collective.co.uk)
